Children's Museum

My girlfriend Ana and I had thought it would be fun to take Ava and Lily to the Children's Museum. Mark was also with us helping out with the baby.

They have recently remodeled and it's buy 1 get 1 free on Sunday's! Lily had fun with the face painting and Ava had fun dancing. It was a very entertaining day to say the least. Enjoy!

Brushing Your Teeth!

Wow, I never knew brushing your teeth could be so exciting! However, Ava tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and has never looked back. I love seeing her try things for the first time. I realize I have taken the simple things in life for granted.

Circus Circus!

The circus was in town! Mark and I thought it would be nice to take Miss Ava to see some clowns. Although, they were so far away she really didn't get a good view of them.

We did however get a great view of some of the other animals. She had a good time and fell asleep before the first half was over. Mark's family came along with us.

Okay, this is just a random post but Mark recently put some head and wrist bands on Ava and the photos had to be posted for your viewing pleasure.

The time has finally come and gone since I am so slow about posting to my blog. However, please know that I wanted to post this the same day but it was a little busy to say the least. Mark and I have known each other since May 5, 2007 and decided to spend the rest of our lives together in June of 2008.

With the birth of Ava in April of 2008 we ( I ) felt a year would give us enough time to get our stuff together for a small ceremony. We decided on May 9, 2009 since it was the weekend following the fifth and after all the planning and stress the day was finally here. One of my good friends I used to work with is a photographer and I was lucky enough to have her for my special day. Julie is phenomenal and I would recommend her to anyone and for any event. She will make it beautiful.

Many of you know that Mark and I are getting married on the 9th of May and I wanted to post some of our engagement photos that my great friend Julie Wilhite took as a gift. Ava Turns One

Okay, it's been a while but I wanted to post some pictures of Ava's first birthday party! She had such a great time and I am so thankful of my friends and family for making it such a memorable event.

April 27th, 2008 ~ Ava Jane Potter has arrived!

Life has not been the same since she arrived and I would not change a thing. Motherhood suites me well and each day is something new. Ava is now 9 1/2 months and has started walking. Mark and I are in trouble now; we just thought things were tough. Seriously though, she is the most amazing little girl with such a beautiful smile. I hope we can make our parents proud and of course Ava! Until next time. More pictures and video to come.
